AAI Code of Practice update

15th April 2012

A further meeting of the Steering Group working on the SCAS Code of Practice for animal-assisted interventions in the UK took place recently.

The Group reviewed the feedback received from the Consultation phase, which was comprwoman cuddling catehensive and very helpful. SCAS is most grateful for the input of its members over the past 18 months, who have shared their considerable experience and expertise in the field.

 

 

The final document will be available very shortly and we hope that this will offer useful guidelines for ensuring safe and effective delivery of all types of animal-assisted interventions in the UK.

In the meantime, SCAS members can view the draft code in our members only area.
