SCAS's training course on animal-assisted interventions, one of very few available in the UK, has been very well received this year and we are now fully subscribed. The course provides an exciting opportunity to learn more about animal-assisted interventions and how to include companion animals in therapeutic practice safely and effectively.
If you would like to register your interest in next years course, or any similar ones we might be running then please contact the SCAS director.
The Symposium took place on Tuesday 3 November in London and brought together thought leaders, researchers and practitioners in the field to further explore the issues surrounding older people, their pets and the impact on housing and care choices.
