We are delighted that you are interested in joining our Society!
As a charity, SCAS is dependent on the generous contributions made by individuals and organisations. This support is vital to us and allows us to continue our important work. SCAS members are requested to pay an annual membership subscription and on joining, receive a membership pack which contains copies of SCAS Journals and other sources of information on the human-companion animal bond.
Annual membership rates
The SCAS financial year is the calendar year. Membership payments run from 1 January to 31 December each year. There are several membership categories please select the category that applies to you. New members joining after 30 September each year receive 3 months free membership. You can pay by cheque/postal order, debit or credit card, or by standing order.
Individual members £25.00
Students/recipients of state pension £15.00
*Overseas members £25.00
Charity members £50.00
Commercial companies £250.00
Veterinary practices £75.00
Individual life members (one-off payment) £250.00
*Overseas membership Payments should be made in POUNDS STERLING. If using payment bank to bank, please quote the SCAS bank account number and state that you, the remitter, will pay any banking charges.
