SCAS members play a vital role in furthering the work of the charity and anyone interested in the human-companion relationship is encouraged to become a member.

Membership comprises both interested members of the public and professionals from a wide range of disciplines including doctors, psychiatrists, psychologists, health educators, social workers, occupational therapists, veterinary surgeons, zoologists, ethologists, animal trainers, breeders and journalists.

We currently have over 500 members based in the UK and a growing international membership.
