Becoming a member of the Society for Companion Animal Studies connects you to a community of researchers, practitioners, and professionals advancing understanding of human–animal relationships.

Individual Membership (Online Registration)

Individual membership can be completed online, please choose the relevant category at the bottom of this page.

Annual rates:

  • Individuals – £25

  • Students – £15

Individual Members receive all benefits listed above, including voting rights at the AGM.

Organisational Membership (By Enquiry)

Organisational membership is available to organisations wishing to support SCAS and engage their staff or volunteers in our work.

Annual rates:

  • Registered charities – £50

  • Commercial companies – £100

Organisational Members are eligible for:

  • SCAS member rates at the annual conference for employees or volunteers

  • Five complimentary places at each monthly webinar for employees or volunteers

Gold £500 Unlimited students and staff (names/contact details of all members to be registered)

  • Opportunities to contribute to and engage with SCAS activities
  • 3 allocated staff members and 3 allocated student members will have voting rights at the AGM
