WoW is known not only for its good knowledge and polished gameplay, but, above all, for the huge world that is offered to players. In the game we travel around the world called Azerot, where we can fight with thousands of players from the most remote corners of the world. All areas have a variety of conditions. We can travel through the cold, icy deserts of the Winter Spring, the jungles of Stranglethorn, the mystical forests of Kalidar and many other vivid landscapes. It is worth noting that the world of WoW is constantly evolving and expanding, so that the game can still impress with visual effects, beautiful animation and detailed textures.

The game takes place on the South American island of San Esperito. There, playing the role of CIA agent Rico Rodriguez, our task is to overthrow the corrupt government and find out whether rumors about the alleged development of weapons of mass destruction are not more than rumors.

For this task, the player is given an area of about 1000 square miles. We have to admit that the sandbox is impressive in terms of size. The island has tropics, beaches, jungles, as well as rural and urban buildings. Just Cause also allowed the player to explore every piece of land prepared by developers without any restrictions. In addition to missions, we can participate in a number of side quests and tasks that will allow us to explore many different locations on the island.

Stalker: The Shadow of Chernobyl (2007)

Developer: GSC Game World
Publisher: THQ Inc.
Genre: Action
Platform: PC

The last item on our list, STALKER, is a game that was developed based on research. The zone has an area of about 20 square kilometers and was divided into several small places: Cordon, Dark Valley, Agroprom, Red Forest, Pripyat. The study of individual areas was limited to powerful enemies and deadly anomalies. An interesting fact was that the city of Pripyat and the Chernobyl nuclear power plant, where the final stage of the game is taking place, were precisely based on real locations.

The STALKER action takes place in Chernobyl, the location of the infamous nuclear power plant. As a result of a mysterious catastrophe, the sarcophagus created around the damaged reactor suddenly exploded. Precipitation killed most of the living things in the vicinity, and the polluted area continued to grow. A special commission began to notice many dangerous anomalies in the area. Expeditions that entered the zone reported the spread of anomalies and progressive corruption due to radioactive contamination, but no one dared to risk going deeper than a few kilometers into the zone. In 2012, the zone began to attract volunteers, Stalkers, who traveled deeper into the zone and were able to find various artifacts.
