Microgaming is a leading online casino software company and also the best Microgaming casinos. The company's list of products includes a huge number of games both for online casinos and for computers, tablets and smartphones on various platforms. Slots, video poker, online poker, roulette, table games and thousands of other games have been released by Microgaming since its inception.

Company history

Microgaming was established in 1994 and is headquartered in Durban, South Africa. In 1997, the company joined the Interactive Gaming Council, a commission dedicated to monitoring and auditing online casinos and software providers for transparency and honesty.

In 1998, the company launched the industry's first slot machine Cash Splash with a progressive jackpot.

In 2001, Microgaming launches a multi-lingual slot machine. In 2002, a user in one of the online casinos hits the Major Millions slot for a whopping €1.5 million.

In 2003, the company launches its own poker network. More importantly, they also co-founded eCOGRA to regulate online gambling.

In 2008, Microgaming releases a new slot machine where the maximum number of winning lines is 100. And in the same year, the Mega Moolah slot machine hit a progressive jackpot of €60000.

In 2010, the company launched Quickfire, an innovative new platform that made it possible for operators to get their gaming software through a simplified scheme.

In 2011, the company launches its first 3D slot machine and begins releasing software for mobile devices.

In 2015 Mega Moolah slot machine from Microgaming is different again, giving away a progressive jackpot of €17879645.

In 2016, the software company said it was preparing to release virtual reality goggles using Oculus Rift technology. These glasses will be designed to play roulette.

The company is currently headquartered on the island of Men.
